Cookie policy

Cookies are small text files a site can store in your browser. Related tools — local storage, pixels, and analytics SDKs — can remember a preference or measure how a page is used. This policy covers those technologies on driveryatri.com.

It should be read with our Privacy policy. Booking data you type into a form is not a cookie; that is explained there.

On a typical public visit we use:

• Essential operation — the site needs to remember enough to load pages, keep a booking form working in your session, and protect forms from abuse. These are not used to advertise to you.
• Admin session cookie (dy_admin) — set only when someone signs in to the DriverYatri admin. It is an HTTP-only session cookie (about 12 hours) so editors can manage the blog, testimonials, and banner. Regular customers never receive it.
• Analytics — PostHog, when a project token is configured, may set cookies or similar identifiers to understand traffic. Admin routes are not sent to PostHog.

We use PostHog to see which pages people open (for example Home, Blog, Pricing) and whether a booking form was submitted, with city and plan only. This helps us decide where to onboard next in the Tricity.

PostHog may process data on its infrastructure (our project uses the EU host by default). We do not use analytics to build advertising profiles or sell lists of visitors.

Light and dark theme is saved in your browser under tdm-theme. That is local storage, not a cookie. Clearing site data or using a private window forgets the preference; we then follow your system light/dark setting.

You can:

• block or delete cookies in your browser settings for driveryatri.com;
• use a private or “strict tracking protection” window;
• clear local storage if you want the theme to reset;
• contact us if you want analytics identifiers linked to a booking enquiry removed, where we can technically do so.

Blocking all cookies may affect admin sign-in. The public booking experience is designed to work without an account cookie.

If we add a cookie banner, advertising pixels, or new analytics tools, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date.
